Somehow my background got removed,when I go to appearance and themes and try to change it it's stuck on "none"

how the heck do I reset it? Windows xp

find the pic you want, right click, save as "desktop"

Won't let me,can't choose any of the widows backgrounds either

put pointer on DESKTOP....right click.....PROPERTIES....clcik the arrow down under THEME in the THEMES TAB...choose WINDOWS CLASSIC.....restart......now go back to what ya had or liked or leave it there
