Full Version: got ?? on adjusting apv cables

when i bought the sled the cables were ass backwards one was put right buy the looks of it the other one was put backwards on the servo so I replaced it with a new one but don't know how to ajust and ther is no dealer in this one horse town with high gas prices 4.95 agllon lol

I did alot of reading up on on this sight and a few others and thought the easyest way would be as the one guy said he did his and that was to hook up or cables open the servo all the and adjust them so there just at the wide open stage as feeling the valve through the exhaust ports. Thats what I planed to do but I marked my sevo and tryed opening it all the way but there seemed to be no end ,so I turnend it back to were it was, made the cables the exact same length put it back together. I think the most important thing that there the same length.when you start your sled the servo opens and closes to figure out its self were things are at.However that being said diff modles do have cable lengths you can adjust to. I have that link saved if I can figure out how I will give u the link. If u have the cat manual it tells u in there as well. (mine did not give cable lenght it just wanted them the same.)
