I have'nt seen this posted in awhile, so I thought I would repost it for the guys who will be doing some clutch tuning this season.
As you can see, the CAT fuel mapping ( BSFC) down low (4000-5000 rpm) is SHAMEFUL for 21st century efi standards.
If your sled is PUKING on itself at low speeds and/or at road crossings, tight twisty trail riding, you can see why.
A BOONDOCKER BOX will fix the problem... For $400.00
Another alternative is to get agressive with the clutch engagement to get the motor up and out of that rpm range.
Ive chosen the latter...A 5000+ engagement might be too agressive for some sledders, depending on how and what spring and weights you choose. There's an extra 20 something FREE horsepower to utilize from the stock engagement rpm, compared to the h.p. at 5000-5200 rpm

Thanks for the sheet, glad to see the power a little higher in the RPM's.
I liked the high engagement on my firecat, but I was hoping to keep it low on the crossfire for more off trail playing. I was thinking a d&d white or cutler gold for around 135 start rate and run dalton adjustable weights. Don't really want to get a BDB...

I wonder if that dyno sheet was from an EB or a late build. As rich as it looks down low, it makes me suspect that it's from an EB. I agree 100% on the mapping...there is no excuse for being so far off. But the EPA will be taking care of that from now on. No more mapping rich to reduce warranty claims.

Almost positive that's a late build dyno sheet.
