This is a real problem for lots of snowmobile clubs. Where I ride we have the benefit of OFSC /OfATV trails . Our Sled/ATV club shares trails/work togethor and it seems to be working very well . Of course we still find trespassers but generally they are minus a permit but on the right trail at least .It can work if everyone is on the same page as far as respecting the trails and that is what it really comes down too. If all else fails and trespassing still occurs I wonder what something like
This could do for collecting illegal activity.
I hope that some time in the not so distant future everyone would be able to co-exist and respect and enjoy eachothers respective past times.

Yes I agree they need to organize and get LUPs
BUT 90% of our trails are on PRIVATE PROPERTY where as the big minning companies will not allow quads or whatever on their property yet turn a blind eye also
We are a SNOWMOBILE club we have NO control over OFF SEASON users
And IMO only I could give a rats ass if they use the trails under a couple of reasonable conditions
a- repair and respect the trail when using it
b-stay off during winter and respect we have a LUP aka permissiomnm form the said landowner to use the trails during the winter months
It is the assholes that mud bogg and do not repair,if you mud bog and go back and repair the section once or twice a yr it would go a long way for all users
Also the morons that remove trail signs to prove their petty little point, that have the right to use the trail whenever wherever they want
Sad thing these are not teens doing this crap many are older 20-40yrsold +
It is pretty pathetic that they have yet to get organize here or IMO they are realizing nobody gives a fuck and will use the trails anyway
If I get a quad in the future I would love to be part of a quad club that helps out on trails
At our last meeting I brought up the fact we have to realize they are here to stay but a couple of members still have the thought that they are not allowed on the trails
Which is true but if we do not bridge the gap it will only get worse until we accept they are here for good BUT they have to accept they need to be organized or both sports will become renegade
