General observations:

Look at the A-arms - they pivot on two radically differnt axis. This looks like an IQ taken a step farther.

What is the black thing on the slide rail?

From the rearward view, the floorboards look really wide. I thought this was supposed to be a 15" track? The tunnel looks skinny.

2 rear idler wheels - I hope this makes it to the production version of this sled.

No FOX floats on the front!

The plastic in front of the driver looks thin (like XP plastic - milk jug thin)
Krom
the inner pivot of the a-arms look to be parallel to each other, the upper arms look to be mounted foward to allow the engine more room to be lower and rearward. There are 2 slide rail re-enforcers bolted to the rail, C+A pro skis on the crate.
rs2
Looks like fabric on the rear sides of the tunnel.

The A-arm layout also allows the front suspension to be closer to the tunnel - probably how they were able to shorten the wheelbase the claimed 2".

This is kinda like being a the strip joint ( ok, back in the day L! ) ... the first $5-$10 gets you a peek.. the next $10-$15 a little more... after about $60 you're left alone once again with your 'imagination' L!

but...... ya it looks KOOL fer sure!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOKS LIKE THE 400 LB SLED WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!!!!!
busted
It looks like a full tubular chassis to me. That Black tunnel looks to be plastic covering a tube frame. And we thought the REV XP pushed the limits of how little parts you make a snowmobile with..

So the consumer version will have a larger/long seat to hide the 10gal tank and we are in business. Sign me up.

I'd say tubular but the front arm mounts through the tunnel, can't tell whats up with the rear arm and what's that aluminum link on the rear arm?

Nice sled for what I can see.

First imperssion is that it looks better than the first impression I had of the Twin Spar. Should be another fun year of New Cat vs New Doo on the race circuit.
jinxx
I want one and hope this is something that will be a new model for consumers.
I have to say I still don't like the looks of the twin spar but this sled has the right look so far.
jkd37
So far this sled has a compete opposite first impression than the twin spar had last year. How many Cat exec's do you think are watching these threads right now?
King kitty
Theres only 2 words for this, FUK YEH!!! Put me on the list...
PhantomLord
I like the front suspention, looks cool. I'm sure that it should do well, they usually beat the cr*p out of them before the put them on the track, then beat them up more to test durability. We'll see, i'm pretty pumped to get this season rolling.

Please, come to the dark side...
