One is Dell 1420. Intel Dual Core T2310 1GB DDR2 80GB $799

Can you give me some suggestion, which one is better?
Or recommend some other nice laptop.
Thanks.

i would suggest going with the dell
i have had my dell for about 3 years now and had nothing go wrong.
dont start with a cheap one and then add what you want try like the 1501
your going to want at least a 2GHz prossessor
and what ever you want for storage, and memory...

Personally Dells make me want to hold a gun to my head. I guess lots of other people like them but our Dell which was the best one they made a few years ago has always been crazy slow. I have a Gateway MT6821. Windows Vista Home Premium. 2 gigs RAM. 160gig HD. It was $1000 about 6 months ago. I'd look at the newer versions of this. It might be called a MT6831 or something similar. Works great.

That will be an alright laptop. The only thing I suggest is to upgrade to 2Gb of ram if running Vista. I just bought 2gb of ram for my E1505 at Best Buy for $55. Everything runs much smoother than with 1 Gb.

That seems like a good enough laptop, though you'll need to define what you mean by "small games". If by "small" you're thinking Call of Duty 4 or Crysis, that's just not feasible (for most laptops!).

i thought you asked this already?

but otay.....the first one the VIDEO CARDS are no good......you gotta get a NVIDIA 512MB or higher....this one comes with a 128MB 8400 which is not enough.....the one for free sucks even worse

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/con...19&kc=11111

i went to see ACER and its not there but found this better but it comes with a 256MB NVIDIA 6150.....you need like a GT 7800 512MB or higher card or you'll be pissed

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=204734800

no way can you get one for this cheap to run a game......if your serious get a gaming puter....this is the best one there is for cheap

the AREA 51 m5550 would be the lowest to go....see it comes with a NVIDIA 256MB card....but i would upgrade 1
ZLZEBUB
by the way the m 5550 offers 2005 XP MEDIA CENTER.....get that....it runs circles around VISTA....the best puter companies still offer XP.....all the others are trying to unload VISTA before the new one comes out cause VISTA BLOWS...this one comes with TIVO for free and can record and burn TV SHOWS off cable and gets HD TV to boot
