Hey guys, As I already mentioned in the Mach Z forum I got my engine (2001 mach Z) stolen this summer and I am installing another engine from a 99 mach Z.

I have no spark and there is a light flashing on the dash (look like a key)

Heres the funny part, If I let the sled stand for 20 minutes and try to check for spark there is spark! only on the first pull. After that the key light flashes on the dash.

The only wires comming from the engine were 3 seperate plugs. a 6 wire for the coils, 4 wires for the lights, 2 for the trigger. I seem to have these hooked up to the right place. Is it possible that I'm missing a ground somewhere?

Thanks

the flashing key lite is usually a warning that the tether is not making proper contact on it's base.
i would think a wrong tether from a different sled would cause the same warning lite too?
