ok, noticed a bit of lube I think dripping out from the belly pan, back near the track. Its green and looks like my Arctic cat lube. Not sure if its mixed with gas or anything because I can't smell it. I got the flu. It kinda looks like its coming from two tubes that point straight down from underneath the carbs. I got some pics. Hopefully they work. But in the first pic you'll see the end of the tube right in the middle of the pic, with some paint wore around it! Let me know what you guys think! I'll try the pics. Let me know if they work!

Hope they worked!

Anyone????

I cant see the pictures but it wouldnt help any way because Im color blind. Possible things you spilled oil when filling. Overfilled oil tank and leaks out vent when sled is at an angle. You have crack in oil tank or hoses not the kind they smoke

RedInteg,
Looks to be overflow from carbureter vent lines.
Have you tipped sled on side? Or anything to cause the fuel overflow.
Even climbing steep hill.
Can you see gas running out of vent lines while it's running? Or was it just a one time deal?
Every time you remove and reinstall carbs there will be a little overflow. Try this, Wipe clean, Put a rag under carbs till done installing Carbs , Then remove rag and see if leaking continues, Before and during a ride.
If leaking out of overflow continues, I would check your,Float and Needle & Seat or also referred to as NeedleValve.
Are you sure that is'nt just water beading up on oily surface?
Are you having performance issues also? Any lack of power?
Hope it helps Catalyze

The sled has been on its side alittle bit. And I mean alittle bit, when carving powder. Also been up a couple of small hills, but nothing serious.
As for loss of power. She sort of feels like shes missing a bit sometimes.
As for leaking out, I can't tell where its leaking yet. I need to haul the air box out for a better look really. Very hard to see in there.
But it isn't just water beading I don't think. ITs pretty thick. Looks like lube, and its green. You can see it in the last pic.
And about the carb overflow. Where are these located?? And would the lube be able to leak out of the overflow?
Any ideas or thoughts would help! Thanks!

RedInteg,
I can't see anything in pics, Try posting best one again.
Have you checked chain case fluid level...If it seems like lube???
Is there a puddle by chaincase in the bellypan
t
The vent lines run from carb mainbody to below the carbs.Just gas will seep from these.
Have you removed oil reservior and thoughly checked it over? Maybe when you tipped it some spilled??

can you be leaking anti-freeze from the overflow or one of the cooler lines under engine. :beer2: walt

well I did have a chaincase leak. And I just fixed it. Put a new gasket and lube in there. Shes not leaking now because the level is perfect.
Could this be some that leaked out before?? Possible I guess? Let me know!
