1999 Formula Deluxe 583, 3500kms, (2000) miles, excellent shape, no studs, new battery last year, 0 miles, second owner wife never drives it. $3000.00 OBO Eastern Ontario

put it in the trader or kijiji. you will have trouble selling that sled here for anywhere near what you're asking.. with this being a US site and all you can buy an 02 800 for under 2500usd...

FYI I had a mint 02 800 with 4800kms.. I sold it a few weeks ago for close to what you're asking, but I didn't bother listing on this site.

you need pictures too or you will get nowhere... get rid of that zx before its just another $2000 sled...

Thanks for your 2cents, usually I would be pissed if someone tried to sell my sled short and suggest it was worth almost 1/2 of what I was asking, and you know what I am, FYI, your sled was at least a $1000.00 cheaper than mine so if you got close to what I'm asking, should be no problem getting my asking price as the X is twice the sled the 800 adrenalines are. Lastly I thought I had advertised in an Ontario section of HCS which would lead me to believe that mostly people from Ontario look through this section.

Get rid of the ZX before ......what????????????????? The 02 MXZX 800 is the perfect 22 yr old hormone sled. Sweet to ride with lots of go and will take a pounding. Believe it or not there are still a few who prefer that chassis to the REV. JMO!!
Oh and BTW we have both an A and R(X) in the fleet.

that about sums it up, The ZX chassis certainly was quick, and for a non HO motor that series 111 made some decent HP, and handle like it was on rails, in the extreme bumps my REV is superior but I mean supreme rough stuff, and yes they certainly will take a pounding, likely more than the REV.

I said you won't sell it here for that... no need to get defensive, but because you did I would think you already know you won't get what you want for it and your "this sled is the tits" attitude will not help it sell either.. but I sell things for a living so what would I know.

FYI you won't get $1000 more than I did for my adr... you're not even asking 1k more than I got.. & some people don't want X pkg shocks just like they may not want a rev.

bottom line is if someone were considering buying or making an offer, your post did Zero to promote selling the sled, you did not do me any favours, my rhetorical remarks were just that, not defensive, the attitute in this exchange of ideas is all on your side I'm afraid and moreover confirmed by your "but I sell things for a living so what would I know." Believe it or not this isn't my first snowmobile or the first time I have sold one, it is however the first time I have actually encountered negative input in a community based web site, I have seen it just never received it.

So, there are people interested, it is a good deal, hopefully someone will buy it and enjoy it as it is as stated by others a great sled and a great buy.

Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh....not worth a reply. Oh sure it is! Every sled has it's own value and that is specific to someone whether male or female and/or an age group. My better half rides the 02 MXZ 800A and absolutley loves the ride. Our two kids (both girls BTW) ride the 02MXZ 800R with the X pk. They wouldn't trade each other as they both enjoy want they ride. Is the sled worth it, of course it is within reason. Is a 800R(X) worth a K more than the 800A , I think so....but once again to the right buyer. Sleds in good condition drop to a certain price and then stay there for quite a while. I certainly don't think that $4500 is remotely unreasonable for "that specific sled". Yeap, bought and sold of pile of sleds in the last 30 yrs and it's all about finding the buyer.
Is the $40 for the trader a good idea? I think so. Will it sell on HCS? Who knows. same as everything else.
