Hey guys and gals, we have been working hard to get the new shack done for all to enjoy this winter. We have had lots of great volunteers come out and help, so thanks to all of them its starting to come together.

Now that is no shack, looks great, I would love to see us doing that here, we did have one that mysteriously burned.

Must be nice to trust the locals

Hell they took a Truck and rammed out outhouse of the trail a few yrs ago in the off season

I remember back in the mid 90s we rented Herbies(Plastic Outhouse) and had them placed on the trail

Any nice job on the shack

Looks like a great warming shack! Our club has one that looks very similar. We bolted our wood stove to the floor with carrage bolts and tightened them from under the floor. It is a shame we had to go to these lengths, but we have not yet lost out stove.

Thanks guys, all we can do is hope it gets treated with respect, fire is always your biggest worry though, we,d hate to see all this work go up in smoke.

Spiffy, these have been pretty qiuck post for ma as Ive been pretty busy, but I,ll put up our map when I get a chance to show the location.

Updated the D.5 site, we are getting there, some finishing work yet to go, but theres light at the end of the tunnel.
