What would be the best initial elevation setup to clutch and jet my sleds for when riding in the Snowies and surronding areas. I am going to take a bunch of spare clutch parts like weights, springs and helixs along with my clutch tools to tweek as needed, but would like to know where to start. Should I set my sleds up for 8000-10,000 or above 10,000 feet???

Start at 10,000 feet Rob Roy Reservior is 9500, Libby Flats is 10500, Widowmaker is 11,500 with surrounding basins running about 11,000

Thanks for the info.

Go with what he said. I agree. Most people cruising around go for 8-10K but start at 10K if you would like to do some climbing and deep powder. "IF WE GET IT"

The good thing is one sled is an EFI so I just have to clutch it, but the others I am going to have to jet. Do you know usually what the tempatures are like around mid February in the Snowies?

Probably in the negatives in the morning and highs in the 20's if I were to guess. This year it may be 80.
