like the title says i need to change out the assembly and have found one that looks similar but is a crc assembly out of a 00 xc 700 will it fit my 98 indy 500?

Everything from the steering post to the trailing arms, is pretty much different. And a some of which mount in different locations. I'd check the donor sled for these mounting locations and compare to yours then you'll be able to figure out for yourself what has to be done. I have one of each out in the garage and from what I recall without going out and looking- it isn't going to work without some fabrication!

Cannot use it without modification. How much is unknown. Here are the sleds that have the same assembly you need:

I thought the 98 500 had CRC. If I'm wrong which year 500 did?

i went to babbits website and the 98 500 steering diagram is different from the 00 xc 700 crc
