i had my suspension all torn apart today and i was lookin at it while i was putting it back together now all ive seen on all of these rear skids ive seen the front chock put on the upper shock tower on the front arm what would happen if i was to put on the bottom mount?

The shock is layed down a little bit when moved to the front/lower position. Will be act softer. More of a trail riding position. Upper/rear position more for bumps/jumping/drag racing.
