NEW to forum and sledding
i am looking at getting importing a 2007 AC T660 Turbo touring from the US. Could anyone inform me if if they have done this and susequently needed warranty. What do you have to do with warranty. Are you still covered under warranty locally in Canada or do you have to take the machine back to the US for repair. Local dealer told me that there would be no warranty, but that could also be a sales tactic. Also, how is this machine holding up overall, what are some of the major repair items that i would/should be concerned with that warranty would cover anyway and how much would these repair bills be. I am having trouble buying loccaly when the price tag difference is $3000+.

thanks.

I have a 06 with about 2800miles. It runs like a top. I bought it used from a friend and he never had any issues with it. Now I haven't either.
Very solid reliable machine.
The warranty thing might be true. But if you have a friend that lives in the states use your name and his address for the cat registration and the warranty will be good here in Canada. If anyone from cat asks, which they won't you can say you are on a trip to Canada for a ride.
I am going to buy a atv Cat in the states soon and this is the way I am giong to do it.

No sled manufacturer will honor a warranty in Canada for a sled purchased from the states and vice versa. its been that way for a long time, this is nothing new. You will have to take it back for warranty work.
