ok, i am from wawa ontario. may be movin to dawson creek or area (tumbler ridge, maybe even alberta/grand prairie). anyone from there? wondering about some ridin area's. i am a backcountry rider...so i understand the whole, local best spots kept secret.....i am kinda the same way. but, i definitely want to hook up with some locals of the area and hit the pow-pow. is there some good spots in dawson/tumbler? i have ridden in the rockies (togwotee lodge wyoming)...any comparison to there? i will be out for x mas to check out the area for about 2 weeks. any info is greatly appreciated and i hope to meet some great people!

thanks in advance guys

lots of great sledding around there. two hours south is the pine pass. scads of great places there. and if your in tumbler, you are in the thick of good sledding.

so have you ridden in the area? you dont have to tell me where....i am just curious of the riding in the area. i will be there in december and i may be bringing my sled..its a shorty but i do pretty well with it. starting to get pumped for the trip out. if the job pans out (the reason for going) i may be there for awhile! do you know if the riding is good in mid december? typically?
thanks again, much appreciated!
