Does the shovel with the saw in it break down far enough that it can be stored under the seat of a crossfire? AC makes a shovel similar to yours that breaks down for storage. i planned on buying one this year and your orange shovel matches my sled drool.gif

The Crossfire bag fits both the X-fire and the M's. The rack portion of the tail on those sleds are the same therefore the bags are the same.

I know I sell them but they offer the most protection possible and are very durable. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be dissappointed from one snowmobiler to another.

I got the float plate, and it helps a great deal, much more protection than the standard skid plate, and it is thick ass plastic...

easy to install too, good product IMO.

Paul,
I saw in a magazine ad that you were going to be carrying SlyDog ski's and wheels. I might be interested in some.

We started to but we have decided to back away from that for now. There are MANY companies selling these and we really didn't want to compete in the price war. Sled Solutions is focused on supplying top quality products to the consumer backed with top notch customer service. IF we were to proceed with selling Slydog products we would be putting that at risk. Our hands are VERY full right now processing orders for Skinz Protective Gear products and our own so taking another product line on would only take away from our goals. We hope to pick the line up again in the future because they are great products.

We are suggesting that you contact Devin (drewalt) @ Sled-Parts.com or Randy (Paul Aris) @ Gobigparts.com both are site advertisers and great guys to deal with.

Thanks,
Paul

Good for you Paul!
Mfg'ers need to support there distributors and offer them pricing autonomy and the ability to make a fair margin.

That's very cool of you. I have already got in contact with Randy about them, I just figured I could get them through you since you're super close and I will probably be getting another CarryAll(great product) from you. I totally agree with you about not wanting to compete in a price war. I am a sales manager for a performance parts/mobile electronics wholesaler and we get alot of our dealers all wanting to sell the same old thing because their competitors are. I explain to them that they will be more successful if they "create" their own market instead of trying to copy everone elses.

Thanks guys, I'm not doing this to be the same as everyone else. We keep trying new things and those that work we stick with but those that don't and could effect the relationship we've built with our customers are dropped.

Is there any way to get rid of the plastic your knees kit and replace it with something that gives the rider more legroom?

I'm about 6'1" and when I move towards the front of seat my knees hit the plastic molding where knee pads go. It doesn't hurt its just irritating because I want to move further ahead. I was hoping you could manufacture a new plastic farring that has more room for your knees on the Crossfire?
Thanks for your time

I think due to it's small number of people that have had your problem it will be almost impossible for anyone to produce a new console for the Crossfire cost effectively. I wish I had a better answer for you but I don't.

Thinking of getting a float plate as well. It looks much tougher than the stock unit from cat. Will it work with the a arm skid plates that cat makes? Might go with both for serious protection. How do they intall these plates with rivets? Any info would be great thanks.

They should not interfere with the a-arm protectors. They attach with screws instead of rivits for easy removal.
