End of last season my sled was just dead would not start or even try to click over. Delear told me I had water in the main harness conection and a pin rusted and broke off in the main box in the front of the sled. It's never been under water but sees lots of powder. I would not like to get starnded again is there something I need to upgrade?

If you are talking about the cdi box right under the hood.....I just wrapped it with electrical tape to keep the water from dripping on it from the top.

There has been problems with the connectors in the ECM because it wasn't seal good enough against water. I used water proof tape to seal it. I allso have the summit X 144" 07 model. The other day the same thing happend where it did not want to start. I found the problem on the battery, the minus connector had come loose.

you wouldnt have to submerege your sled to get moisture into your ecm where it is mounted...if u ride lots of pow and some of it could get into your engine compartment and onto your pipe, your guna get some steam that could head up and into your ecm if its not sealed 100%...the guy that owned my 07' before me had the ecm re-mounted up underneath the consil (is that spelt rite?? consil, council, counsil.... head_hurts.gif ) to get it as far away from any source of moisture as possible. i thought that was a pretty good idea.
