when buying rail extensions how important is it to get tracksusa with the hyfax over another kind that doesnt? Im new to moding and don't know much about hyfax, but could save $100 with other ones.

if you extend the rails, then yes you will need longer hifax. Not sure if this is what your asking but anykind of hifax for the new length of rail will work.

if you do mostly trail riding I would get the ones that extend the hyfax. If you only ride in deep snow I would skip the hyfax. Looking at you location I would get the ones that extend the hyfax.
