hello people. i am building a couple of custom sleds for me and my boy and need to match some cat colors. i need recommendations on powder coaters in the winnipeg area. i looked into one in the garson area but he wanted a minimum charge of 100 dollars. if someone knows of somewhere else then shoot them off. if i have to go there then so be it.
i was also told that the arctic cat green cant be matched as it is only available to cat which i find hard to believe.
let me know what you know!
thanks

Not sure if you know or not.. but we do powder coating..

You are right, you cannot perfectly match the colors , but you can come close enough that it would be hard to tell..

Arctic cat used several different greens over the years.. the older stuff was lime or florescent green,,, the newer stuff (07-08) is a darker green.

It probobly wont be ecomical for you to send the parts to me, but if you are, we could help..

Here is some green we have the closely matches the new 07-08 cats.. and we could get florescent green..

THanks

Brian

I think he wants to get it done some where around Winnipeg.

LOL my friends dad used to own Pro-tec. Wished he still did, could get stuff powder coated for cheap.

When I called Pro-tek they told me the same $100 minimum and didn't seem very interested in my business. I had my front springs done @ Central Sandblasting out near the perimiter in Transcona, they charged $20/spring and seemed pretty good to deal with.

When you phone there ask for Kevin personally. He think likes to get into the custom stuff. He did a tunnel in green for a Cat and it was a good match. Had my exhaust system done and it was a excellent job. Proteks big into mass production. But they do slip in the odd custom work.

Also had my springs done here. $75 for 2 but they had to do just mine for a whole batch of red, not just mine with a bunch of other stuff.

Central sand blasting same as rob, 169 for 2spindals, and 4 a arms. He has always done good work for us and this time was the same.

thanks for the replies. i will call the 2 places listed and see what they have to say. i am in no rush right now to get them back so if they happen to run a batch of the color i want then maybe it will be slightly cheaper.
any more out there?
