Indys brother and I have done just about everything the exact same...his is just possessed...which is great for him. After we would all get going...I would pull to within 1 sled of the F7 at best, but no more ever...and the 03 ZR 900 would close in on me...until we tuned in my Secondary Spring by loosening it with Indy's Brother T-Tool he fabricated. The tool rocks and so does loosening your secondary. By doing that I could hang better with the F7 and not get gained on past a small mid range lull by the 03 ZR 900. If I tightened the Secondary Spring, the 03 ZR 900 would hunt me down like a Dog that smelled blood. :banghead:
So in the end, I was psyched, I ran third all day...we killed anything else out there...Polaris Pro X 800, F7, Turbo, Rev, whatever...
I ran a best of 87 through the 660' Radar Run Indy's club sponsored...which matched his Dad's 03 ZR 900 (Can you say I'm happy!!!), and his brother's Animal 900 ran a 91...a local NH dealer's son's 900 only ran an 89...which proves how insane Indy's brother's sled is.
We did 28 miles of racing that day...can you say RACE ADDICT!
On an uneven lake, with Hand Guards, my 04 F7 Sno Pro did 106 mph on Sat and Sun...so unless I remove the guards or get a perfect surface...that's it. It's still faster than my 03 F7 standard after Cat deceived me and sneekily reburned my ECU which detuned 1 testicle from the sled so I am happy it runs as good as it does...I bet it has 108-110 in it on smooth ice with no hand guards.
My ZR 900 is up to 110 now...from 106-108-to 110...and that's on the same bumpy surface the F7 ran on, and with the same Sporttech Hand Guards too...so I bet that has at least the same 112 most ZR 900s are seeing after the tinkering. We took some mad video on the lake on Sunday with me almost flipping the sled over 3 times riding insane wheelies...I effin love this ZR 900! As fast as the 03 ZRs are stock...this sled feels 50 lbs lighter and a lot more put together...and for that I am glad. :beerchug:
