went down had a great time thanx to the tater farm for putting on the event!......i think it could have been a little more split up for the classes....was bummed about that!.....no chance against 700/800 pro stock........was sure i won one class via looking side ways but turned out that i was beat at the line
(so they said). 700 improved running against 800/1000 was not good for me cause i was stuck into racing against them almost every single run. won against 800 improved but anything that was oversized or way more picks than i had on, no chance! but i noticed a big improvement with the few picks i had on!.....gonna finish that when i get my stuff from kam!.........anyway thanx again for a great day of enjoyment!....speedwerker
p.s. no time for pics this time, races were too close together!

So was it the reinvention of snowmobiling?
Turk
he(08 800 xp) did a nice wheely & allmost went over backwards. There will be pics posted later. Even with a decent start that 800 did not win.

W.F.O.
nice pics, it was a fun day, well organized, and I hope they put on more races through the winter.
Oh Canada
It was a fun day. We took 5 sleds to race, that kept us busy! Had some mechanical problems so that cut some sleds day short but we still had a blast.
Lots of HCS mb members there, XC Special, Speedwerker, Interrock, WFO, 2qwik2c, Tracksidedown, Wottz, Jrp Racing, Chevellebigblk, TWRacer, Rob7374, Horny Onion, orangefate, Bulldogger, myself and i am sure a bunch more that i never saw or missed.

here a few pics my wife and dad took. I do know that there are some great pics taken by another member that they will hopefully share!

Here's a few pic's of the races. More coming.
rob7374
Hmm...not sure what just happened to the pics...I'll try again
rob7374
Almost done...the money shot will be all by itself and coming up after these shots
rob7374
Here's my shot of the day....still can't believe I captured it....Oh Canada is in the near lane on an F7 and the XP on the other side was giving the corwd a bit of a show...weight transfer can be a good thing but dragging the back bumper is not the way to win races!...lol
rob7374
FYI tracksidedown is on his way over to upload and edit more pictures....of what I don't know....but more pictures should be up later.
Here's also a link to a video from the day...if you click on more videos from the user you will find more videos from Portage as well as the floodway..

Rob...great shot. that was the Kodack moment of the day. I still can,t believe he saved it from going over. He sure changed his body position after that. Great entertainment & a good performance by everyone. Bigblock musta ran 30 heats on his Attak!!!!
Xc Special
thanks to all for putting on the races, smile.png smile.png smile.png smile.png

Oh Canada
great pics rob! Is that last pic the money shot cuz I am in it or because of the doo showing how good the hook up was??
I think the best is the face of that young kid standing off to the side lol

Congrats to Britt, Jrp, WFO, Bull, Horn, Rob and others for pulling in some hardware in the stock and improved stock classes!
Thanks again to everyone who helped us out!!

Haha.. I love the expression on the kid's face in the background... "Oh, SNAP!" Ya those XP's sure like to wheelie, I wonder if you could throw some extra couplers in the rear suspension to stop it from transferring weight that much. I know you need wieght transfer but yeesh. Just wondering how the F7's and F8's did up against it??
Wish I coulda made it out but it's a bit of a haul for me, oh well. Any plans for a Floodway Kings Pt. 2, was it postponed or just plain cancelled? I'd like to take mine out but I think if there's snowdrags this winter I'd be better suited for that.

Until we meet again people it was fun.

Maybe 2 weeks on the floodway, it will have to dry up lots thought.

Not trying to get anyones feathers ruffled up here because it was all in good fun right? This sled belongs to me and it is in fact a zrt600. I got it from Michigan last year. It was a trail rider up till 2004 then it started to transform into what it is now. As a matter of fact I still have the Michigan title for it and I just pulled the registration stickers off on friday. I know for sure it was not one of Duncans machines(not that there is anything wrong with the ones he built!) Look at the purple psi prostocker, that used to be Duncan's. I'am just replying because I don't think people should assume and then POST.

Come over and take a good look under the hood the next time.

It sure was a fun day!!!!!! Thanks for organizing these drags guys!!!!GREAT JOB!!!!!!

I didn't make it out to the races but I thought for sure that 800r would have cleaned up everything there

I think we got that one 11c

Just so people know, trail stock was clutching, gearing and jetting only! Must be trail height etc! ISR stock legal sleds (our F7 and F6) had to run in improved stock rubber because of being lowered and running cool down.

SO, here is what I know for results.

Trail Stock 600 1st Rob Cormack 2004 600 ho Ski Doo
2nd

Trail Stock 700 1st Pure Performance 05 F7
2nd Rob 2004 600 ho Ski Doo

Trail stock 800-1000 1st WFO on a beautiful Black crossfire 700 sno pro
2nd Pure Performance on ol faithful 1999 XCR 800

Improved Stock rubber 600 1st Rob Cormack 04 600 ho
2nd Pure Performance 03.5 F6

Improved Stock rubber 700 1st Pure Performance 03 F7
2nd WFO on that Crossfire 700

Improved Stock rubber 800-1000 1st Pure Performance 03 F7
2nd James Merke 08 800 xp (i think)

Improved Stock Picked 800-1000 1st Pure Performance F10
2nd Chevelle 06 Attack

I didnt copy Chevelles info from how he did, I will try and cut and paste that into the results here too. If anyone else see's any mistakes or can add please do so. I will try and get the official results from Bill tomorrow.

There was the only the one XP there.. pretty much the way it came out of the box, it didn't win a final according to the above info, 2nd was it's best.
There was a few set up for grass at Haydays and the Snow bash, they did well there, they were still dialing them in but ET's are a little faster than the old Rev's.

This was a good race, went pretty smooth to, not allot of sleds out but a good time none the less. I had no time (& lazy too) to put in my grass clutching so racing with trail clutching was not great. no.gif
I think a few more classes would have been better, like STOCK studded classes (lowering & cool down allowed), instead of just IMP stock studded.
Hope this is an annual event...maybe a few snow drags too ? thumbsup.png
