Here are a few pictures ProX268 sent me of the '08 600RR.

A few things I notice from the pics.

1. I don't think that will be the Oil Tank we get with the RR. The RR Oil tank will be totally different and larger. Look at the fisch, totally different.

2. Look at the Muffler. The aftermarket is going to be able to come up with a nice Can for us. The Racer uses the same muffler.

i already orderred a few things off this sled to use on my new racer project and they're still back orderred for at least three weeks.

Thats interesting Zippi, cuz all the other dealers in the country are saying the part #'s for the unique stuff are not valid yet. What kind of parts did you order???

I orderred the oil tank, i know the dealer called and talked to my wife and told her he was confused on what i was looking for. i called today and he figured it out, told me it was the oil jug and it would be three weeks.

Maybe he's feeding me some BS, guess we'll see in a few weeks.

I just talked to my dealer and those part #'s became valid since Wednesday when I last asked him.

So anyone who wants to order 600RR parts the numbers are now valid.

The bad news is most of the parts are not available for shippment till 11/16/07. Still not that bad of news but it will be 1 month till the parts are ready to ship.

The RR Oil Tank retails for $124

The RR Fuel Tank has gone down in price to about $230 and it is translucent like the racer and the other Poo Big tank.

The RR Pipe Only, retails for $426 and will be available to ship on 12/05/07.


And the really exciting news is my dealer just told me (as i typed this) that 4 of his 600RR were shipped to Alaska YESTERDAY.

So the RR are on trucks headed to dealers Right Now.

Sweet deal, i guess he was telling me the truth! Cant wait to get my stuff...

Do you guys know if the oil tank "Assy" includes all or any of the other parts shown on the fiche page? I'm just wondering if I will need to order most of that other stuff separate.
