Has anybody done a lot of experimenting with the 600 fusion as far as clutch setup? Im running 120 woody's gold digger studs with a one inch track, 400 mains. I'm looking for the best clutch setup for doing quarter mile ice runs.

The stock setup is tough to beat, as long as the motor is turning 8100-8200 rpm. Lots of people have done experimenting, including myself. This seems to be the general consensus. Only thing I changed when mine was stock was to use an almond round primary spring, to up the engagement rpm.

My favorite 600 clutch setup:

56-42-.36 cam
Red-Black Spring
140-330 pt# 7043342 drive spring (new almond replacement spring)
10-62M or 10-64M weights (depending on what your sled will pull)

I also like to shave .015 off th heel pads in the movable sheave of the drive clutch.
