I ordered a heavier torque arm springs for my Fusion 600ho and thought I needed a mounting kit because of the larger springs.
I remember seeing a post on this topic saying you will break the springs without the mounting kit. Can some one help me out with a part number. I check with my local dealer and they have no idea what I'm talking about.

I think you're talking about the torsion springs on the rear of the skid? Installing the HD ones? If so, I remember seeing that thread too, but don't remember the details.

If you just have the heavier ones for the Fusion they bolt right on. The HD springs from the Pro -X line rquire a kit. There is a service bulletin from the race shop about it. You will also need to revalve the rear track shock for more rebound damping. Stock it handles like a basket ball bouncing on concrete. I will look up the update number for the springs tomorrow at the shop and post it.
