Pete's Coulee Shooting Range - located 4 miles south, 1 mile west, 1/4 mile south of Park River ND.
Three Events - .22 rimfire (any action handgun) - Centerfire (any action/caliber handgun) - Shotgun (any action/gauge)
Shoot in any or all events.
Individual event course of fire - shoot four times in any event throwing out your slowest time and averaging the remaining three. (times will be recorded by electronic timer)
Overall match winner will be determined by averaging the three individual event times.
Will have a raging campfire and hot chocolate to keep you warm if cold out.
Got a shooting buddy...bring them with. Please reply by Friday October 26 if you are coming so I can make final plans for the shoot.
For those who have never shot a Pin Shoot here's some information and pictures of how it is set up.
The table is 4x8 feet with 5 bowling pins spaced equally apart 1 foot from the back edge for .22 or 1 foot from the front edge for centerfire and shotgun. The shooter stands 7 yards away from the table and at the sound of an electronic timer tries to shoot the pins off the table as fast as you can. Your time stops at the last shot recorded by the timer. Once you try it, it becomes addicting. As Bob H says: speed is everything...accuracy means nothing. ;-)
