First of all a sled. Second, Brass Cahoneys!
But really now, good waterproof clothing to keep the powder from wetting you down and you freezing. Nothing worse than sitting in wet pants after your first hour of Boondocking. Good helmet with a visor or goggles that won't fog up. The variation in temps can reek havoc with fogging of visors and Goggles. I find goggles best.
If you're riding your own sled, a long track (141" plus) is a must to fully enjoy the powder. Paddles of at least 1.5 inches are helpful too. Bring extra jets for your carbs as there is also a huge variation in altituides. Average alts. would be between 4500 and 6500 feet above sea level. If you jet for around 5000 ft you might be okay. Check with your dealer on that before you leave.
GPS is a must. A Buddy is must. Tow rope. Saw. Overnight survival gear. Fireball(Cinnamon Liqueor). Just kidding, not a good idea to drink and ride. Enjoy!
