Wondering if any one out there could give me there opinions on these clutch kits witch is better

Thanks
CrazyBill
I actually have both of those kits. my 05 has a cudney kit and my 07 has a dunn kit. I'll give it to ya as straight as i can. The dunn kit puts more power to the ground out of the hole by far, but doesn't seem to have any gain or loss on top end to compare. The cudney kit engages at about 3200 rpms vs. the dunn kit engaging bout 4500 rpms. I actually like the cudney kit better on the trails cuz you hardly ever need that much power and with the lower engagement your fuel mileage is much better. My 05 has gone 127 miles on a tank and only took 8.5 gallons whereas the 07 (with the dunn kit) RAN OUT OF FUEL with only 101 miles and took 9.5 gallons to fill up. I guess it comes down to what you want your sled to do, but they are both awesome kits and do exactly what the respective manufacturer claims it will do. So this is how i break the two kits down. Dunn---drag racing, Cudney---trail riding. Now having that said, be prepared to monkey with each setup a little to get em dialed, cuz each mach is different. Oh yeah, if you install the clutch kit yourself........make sure you heat up the clutch arms with something to loosen the locktite up on the set screws or you'll strip em out and have one hell of a problem on your hands. To each their own, there's reason we do not/will not Support/Promote Bill Cudney.

Only commenting on consumer demand through our service - GOODWIN can't keep the XP kits in stock, and our clients have been more than pleased with the BIKEMAN Stage II kit. It was of all the vendors we promote and support - that was the comment. BIKEMAN is also a supporting sponsor of HCS who's financial support provides for this online community

If you say bikemans kit is so good, how come everyone says the team secondary is crap? That's what bikeman told me to buy, meaning a $700 clutch kit? I had bikeman stuff on my 04 F-7, and only the clutch kit sucked, Everything else worked great. Other than bikeman, you are the first person to say their stuff works good on Mach Z's . Not trying to argue, but I am heading to Goodwin in the Morning, and they will install and let me run it before I buy. That's all I can ask for. Bikeman's kit is not as expensive, but a $300 plus secondary is very pricey.

I believe puddytatman uses a Team secondary with his own concoction of clutching (best of everything?!) and his sled hauls the mail.

I think Bikeman means that the 'Team Secondary' would compliment his clutch kit very well.

Good points 87gtNOS and we've never heard any complaints about any TEAM products either, very replicable company.
