Hey everyone. My wife and kids just got into snowmobiling last season and are hooked. My 8 & 6 y/o have XC120 and I know very little about whats available for mods on this sled. Any suggestions on how to increase its performance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rec Motors in Iowa, www.recmotors.com is your best bet for tech tips and mods. My lid's have been racing 120 snocross for 5 years and this is were we go for info and products.

I will second the REC Motors suggestion. If your kids have any interest in racing then you may want to keep the engine "stock". Stock does not mean slow.

Thank you both. My 8 y/o son wants to race this season. Ill likely sign him up with Rock Maple.

Cool both my boys race 120's with RMR. If you have any questions, let me know I'll help if I can or point you in the direction to get help.

Check out our SnoX video from last season all RMR races.

Sorry the correct site is www.recmotor.com The site you typed just takes you to a search engine. My son's are 9 and 5, they share a xc120 with the 26 tooth gear, and govener bypass(the solid oneHaven't put it on yet, just a homemade one). It can do 21 with my 9 year old and haven't tried with the 5 yr old yet. need to get it up a bit more b4 next april for the races. What type of improvement would the pipe and which clutch or other parts would you reccomend and why?
