All my shipping to the US has been done via Canada Post - USPS with good results and no issues with handling fees etc.

I use UPS ground as well for shipping, but its half price if you ship it from the US rather than Canada. There is a site you can use www.uspostal.com to get UPS rates from the US to compare to Canadian rates. Its almost worth the drive to cross the border and ship it from there.

I would use Canada post/ USPS over shipping cross boarder with UPS. The compnay to whom you are shipping it to might get hit with a duty/brokerage charge. Like trailboss05 said it is a lot cheaper to ship UPS from the USA side saves almost half the shipping cost, that is if you live closer to the boarder.

You can have them mark it as warranty exchange, or have them list the value of the work done and not the total value of the pipes. If they do list it wrong, you can get your money back from Canada Post. With UPS you can't.
