Just bought a 03 700 ProX that has the piggyback clickers in the rear. Machine didn't come with a manual so I'm wondering how to set them up?? Higher the number slows them down? Also can't find grease fittings on main skid mounts. Taking skid out to check everything anyways do you have to take out shaft and grease??

the lower the number the softer the setting. the front shocks also have compression adjusters on the bottom of the shock shafts. same thing - lower number is softer. I liked 2 on the ski shocks, and 0 or 1 on the skid shocks.
you will have to remove the suspension mount bushings to grease them as there are no grease zerks on those, I dont know why polaris didnt put any zerks there???
I dont know how heavy you are , or how hard you ride, but I'm 185, and I ride pretty agressive. I reduced the center shock spring preload to 3/4" of thread showing on the shock body (the best improvement I made for ride quality), and I completely removed the rrss. set rear torsion springs to acheive 4 1/2" to 5 1/2" of sag with you on it( with no snow in skid). then set front ski springs to allow 1" of sag at the front bumper without you on it.
have fun.

Thanks a lot for the info. I'm around 195 lbs and ride fairly aggressive. Like to fly over the approaches on the way up to Birds Hill.

I've heard of removing front scissor stop for a softer ride. Wouldn't removing rear stand it on it's ass?? Also front sag s/b set WITHOUT me on it. (just lift to top - measure - let it drop - measure??) Thanx.

the removal of the rrss is purely a personal preferance for me
as for front sag - yes, 1" of sag at the front bumper without you on the sled. thats directly out of the pro-x race manual.

Thanx for the help!!
