If i were you i would go with the 600 fusion or the gsx. I would stay away from the 700 the fact that they took it off the market after only 1 year tells me something....
I been hearing about how the Fusions suck, the 766 and 866 engines were garbage, and polaris discontinued them for a reason. Polaris dropped the Fusion name because of publicity. They got a bad rap, and mostly was the dealers faults, not polaris. Polaris knew they were in trouble, so decided it would be best to drop the "fusion". 90% of negative fusion garble on the net comes from the mouths of skidoo, yamaha, and cat owners, not Fusion owners. Besides talking to fusion owners, I was also on the net looking at used ones. Saw lots of 05-06 900 Fusions with 3-6k miles on them for sale used. Well in 2-3 riding seasons, if these guys racked up those kind of miles, the sleds spent more time on the trails then in the shop. There are a lot of happy Fusion owners out there. not saying there werent some lemons out there, but the good defintily weighed out the bad. Some 900's and some 700's blew belts due to crappy engine mounts, poor stock clutching, and they vibrated. Didnt some of the rev 600 and 800 sleds need pistons and rings before 2k miles? Or the carb boots cracking and burning up the engines? Or leaky PTO seals? They all had their own issues, but for me , Id rather rather walk into a dealer to get a new belt, walk out and be back on the trail in minutes, rather than get my sled in line at the dealer in mid january for some rings, pistons, etc.
I just bought a new 2006 900 Fusion for 5700 out the door tax and everything. I dont think the dealer I got it from had any Fusions left. He had a used 06 600 that he wanted 4999 for, but had 3k miles, so for a few hundred more I got a brand new 900 with 0 miles and warranty.
I would go with either sled, personal preference. My buddies have revs, and they are a great bump sled, and comfortable. The rev 600HO is zippy, and the 800 PT is a strong runner. Beat my 03 F7 by a few sled lengths stock to stock. The polaris 600HO lead the 600 class in 2006.
