Found an easy, fast way to clean the plastic panels from the exhaust.
Brake fluid, then hit it with some mothers back to black

I've tried every chemical under the sun for cleaning my red bellypan, and Sled Brite works the best. Brake clean would NOT take off the stuff on my Fusion. No scrubbing with Sled Brite...spray on, and hose off. I did find that any NaOH based cleaner worked very well, but sled brite isn't as harsh as some others.

My vote also, SledBrite Belly Pan Cleaner Here is a link

A product called "greez-off". Comes in a yellow spray bottle. Always worked on my yellow doos, havn't yet tried it on the blue-bottomed fuse though. Maybe its not even made anymore?

Try Amsoil Power Foam. Best I've found for cleaning exhaust valves and belly pans. Just don't use it on decals, hood or painted surfaces.
