trouble
I have found out that my old pride and joy 1996 Ultra SP needs the engine rebuilt due to age and crank seals. I dont have the time or ambition to do it. I want to sell it off to some one who will either fix it or make money selling parts. It has over $ 1500 worth of go fast parts including bored and flowed carbs, PSI modblaster lake race pipes, a special engine mount plate, legend thunderdome heads, reeds, helix and springs. I also have a set of old EGTs and probes to go with it. It has the original exhaust too. It also has Reverse that is getting harder to find. The chassis is in good condition as is the hood belly pan and seat, no tears. The track is usable. Suspension and Fox shocks are good but likely need rebuilding. Back in the 90's this sled would bury the needle on the hard packed or road and I did 86 mph in 440' on grass.
I would think you could sell the go fast stuff the engine, reverse and the EGTs for what I want for the whole sled. $ 1400. The hood, seat, tunnel, suspension, ski's etc would all be gravy. ** Would consider a good condition sled for a 12 year old as trade. **

I am just wondering since you are looking for a sled for a 12 year old would you consider a trade for a 95 super sport 440? Its got hand and thumb warmers, cobra windshield, rebuilt clutch last winter, all new shocks in the rear suspension along with bearings. Sled is in real nice shape besides a tear in the seat. The sled is located in Orillia currently.

I was thinking even smaller for a trade but I will pm you with a few questions. Thanks

do you have some pics of the sled?

I dont have a digital camera. I am going to borrow one... if I dont sell it one of the couple people inquiring about it now. By the way, Kitchener is only 1/2 hour or so from here.
