I have been looking to buy the Ski-Doo Modular helmet with the built in sun visor. My question is, does the sun visor ever fog or ice up? I would be putting on an electric shield. I would like to wear it without the breath deflector. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

first I have used one for 4 years now and love it , the sun shield works great, I use the breather deflector and have no problem so if u go electric I think that would work fine with out the breather also. thumbsup.png

I have used the Modular for 5 years with glasses. Sometimes under the right conditions, I will get fogging or ice build up it but its very rare. Use the breath mask piece properly and cinch it tight. I usually ride with the visor cracked open just slightly. Do all that and you will have little problem wth this helmet. The sun visor is awesome.

I just bought a 2007 model and I love it .I don't have the electric shield as I see no reason or need at this point .I Have not had any fog problems with outside shield or very slight ...rare on the visor .I really like the quick pull down visor breaking out into the sun....fantastic.I also wear glasses...prescription ones and do not experience fogging while wearing the nose cup with replaceable filters .I also like the quick connect chin strap .All in all..........i am really impressed with this helmet which I purchased new on e bay .Good luck and you will have made a good choice getting one of these. No regrets ....the silver fox
