Tunnel supports from Cat. Do the tunnel protector for the heat exchanger. Go with Cat recommended stud pattern 162? can't remember. Run it and see how it handles. He might want to pull the limiter straps up.

If he is studding you will need to install extra tunnel protectors by the gas tank....the one from Cat only goes near the rear of the tunnel by the exchanger......do a search and you will find pictures of what I mean that will be very helpful.
I went with fewer studs (ninety something) and I feel it work great, no need for more studs, more weight and more expenses!
Make sure you use the tall nuts and big washers when you stud.
As mentioned already tunnel supports.
If you want to keep the black mat/ logo that is on the rear of the tunnel behind your seat you may want to make sure it is properly glued from the factory......my fell off after the first or second ride.
There are a few lines/ hoses in the engine compartment that could use a little more extra protection from rubbing and a few wires that I decided to re-route/ re-secure for my own piece of mind.
There are two holes on each side of the tunnel where you usually have your feet resting that I guess were designed to let the snow escape from this area.....I installed the plastic covers over each hole so when and if you hit water or do a water crossing you will not be sprayed with water through these holes.
