a dealer near us has some 2006 polaris 500 outlaws for sale for $4800 are they ok i think in 07 they went with a 525 motor is there a reason there are alot of 06 left overs ? and is $4800 a good deal

Well the 500 is dog compared to the 525. I found a 525 for 5600 so I'd wait or look now and find a left over 07 some where.

I dont know if i would call the 500 a dog. I have the predator with the 500 and it seems to go just fine. its no sled but it holds it own. I have lined it up against the oldmans 800 outlander on pavement and pulled about 5-6 lengths on him to 70mph, then i hit the rev limiter in top gear. 800 renegade on grass would pull a quad or 2 on me to 70. I say go for the 500 nothing wrong with it other than its not the fastest.

Shop and deal,, I bet you can get the 07 for real close to that... Dont forget its time for the 08's!!
