I have a brand new take-off 1" 15x121 hacksaw if your interested. Still has the tag on it.

In my experience, as well as info from customers...If you have a higher horsepower sled you are going to want the ripsaw, as it will give you better traction of the line. I loved it on my 07 Dragon. The Hacksaw will give you a mile or two per hour top end more. Once you are moving on the trail I notice little difference. They are both a great performance track.

I am running my 500xc this year, so I'm trying to figure out which one to go with as well. As much as I loved the Ripsaw, I think it might be too much for the little XC500, so I will most likely go with the Hacksaw...

Just my $.02

Hacksaw is a better groomed trail track, good handling, speed, and light weight - ripsaw is a little more agressive - longer lug means longer stud - can be an issue on older machines, and horsepower is also a consideration - less hp use hacksaw, more hp- use the ripsaw, ripsaw will outperform in the hookup department and off trail.

if its for your 800 you want a ripsaw , if your going to stud it get a prepunched track and use the double backer and dont stud the outside edge your track will give you very long life and zero pull outs. Tall nuts are a must with any studs over 1325 long.

the ripsaw is more aggressive and comes with a taller lug, I am using the ripsaw on my MXZ 600, I used it on my F7, I like traction over top end though, climbing hills, not getting stuck, you gotta think about how and where you will do most of your riding

CC, go with the 1" Hacksaw. Remember how the HO hooked up with the 1 inch. Maybe go with 1.175 instead of the 1.075 studs. Or are u just reusing the ones from the old track?

Why don't you just do Back Lake rips until it blows off and the just have a raging beer party!

I would not use either.... I would look for a 1" fully clipped, fully open camoplast Predator.
