Greetings! Will toss the Millinocket/Baxter State Park areas hat into the ring here. Great riding right from the center of town here in Millinocket - good restaurants - good places to stay (www.katahdincabins.com - if we do say so ourselves!) - GREAT riding/trails obviously! Hope this was some help - any questions just fire away!

Thanks everyone - I'll check out these places. We're coming from CT & don't want to travel too far North with a toddler.

Bingham, Forks, Jackman areas are good...........

Catgirl, Try the area just South of Millinocket (Five Lakes Lodge) the best groomed trails not in the County or go North past Millinocket to Shin Pond Village near Patten. You'll avoid the crowds and the mid life crisis riders.
