Gotta play some "Vendor Golf" on Friday in GR... any suggestions for a decent.. not too expensive course that is close to the airport?

Go play skidoofreak's course... I dont think it's far from Ford airport.. he has the HCS outing there Sat... stay the night and play it... good outing, good guys some of those west siders are... :beer:

None of the courses are very expensive here IMO, well maybe with the exception of Thousand Oaks. Thorneapple Point is nice, as suggested, but for me it's a little too close to the airport, expressways, and industry in general. Was given the nickname Planes, Trains, and Automobiles shortly after it's debut in the late 90's. I would highly recommend Quail Ridge (You'll have to search for the link) Quality course, close to the airport yet away from the flight paths and highways.

FYI Skidoo Freaks course is Indian Trails. Corner of 28th and Kalamazoo.

I played at Brigadoon this morning.....The greens were so soft I dig my ball out 3 times......in 9 holes. Course was nice...

I played Thousand Oaks with my mom at the end of July and it was very nice. Expensive though, she bought so it was even nicer. I let her win, you know.... because she paid.
