I bought a set of used valves off of E Bay. they said that they were from a 05 800. They are sold with no cut out like the ones on my 04 800. Did they change the vavles from 04 to 05 and will the 05 work in my 04. paid 20.00 bucks for the set. Can't get the part numbers off of partsland.

How heavy are they compared to your 04's , and what color are they?

I belive the valves without the cut are the older aluminum style valves, the valves I have sitting in front of me from my 800, are ss and have the two cuts on one side of the valve.

Correct! The valves you want to use for the 800's stainless or Ti will have the cut outs on one side.
