I have a 01 tcat with b&m pipes how far from the piston skirt do i place the egt sensors thanks

Most are using 100mm from the skirt normal 1175 preignition 1250

Make sure they are as consistent as possible and then tune by plug colour and piston wash. Once your jetting is how you want it then look at the EGT readings to find out what the numbers for your sled are. EGT readings are unique to each sled.
