Hey all - posted this q in the general forums, but no one bit.

I was wondering, what would be a good camera for shooting scenes in the snow. I was thinking a dvd because the media type is probably the best best for colder weather. I fear tape sticking to heads for the dv, and hard drives burning up motors when its cold. What do you guys think?

I've used DV's in the cold many times, in fact I've never filmed with anything else. I filmed this vid with DV, I had the camera outside all day in my hand and it never froze up or anything.
