today i loaded up the sled to get it ready to go into the dealership for a recall tomorrow morning. it is the 07 IQ CFI and all last year i noticed that the primary clutch was making a poping sound as if it was enguaging and disinguaging really fast. i was hoping that it would go away by the begining of this year but it never did. could i have the belt too tight? or is it normal for the sled to do that?

Im pretty sure its normal with that TEAM secondary. I know if i go from reverse and put it in gear and go it makes a clunk noise which i have had on all my sleds with reverse.

Yup...its normal on all perc equipped sleds. A buddy told me a lot of that clunk can be eliminated if you purchase a helix thats cut for two seperate angles...these helix's have far less a machine area for the rollers getting into reverse and back...therefor making less of a clunk or snap.
