When the upgrade is complete, it will be dual quads with 8GB of RAM. Unlimited disk space, etc.

Prob. good for 3months b4 next upgrade!!

running well so far. Do you guys use 2 boxes with a shared storage, or are the 2 fail safe/redundant?

btw, i know it may seem a little excessive, but perhaps you should consider a blade setup. Supposedly the easier way to add horsepower. But you pay for your convenience. Although, I dont know anyone who has ran them on bb's, so who knows. Part of the bb problem is always code limitations.

We buy a lot of servers through a co in fl whos been decent to us. Pm me sometime if you want to price them for your other sites (i would have to ask our tech who the contact info is).

yep. seams to be in good shape this morning.

same here. especially weds. night when it was busy. got a bunch of drive errors and gave up. seems like its slowly getting better though.

I did a small site move about a month ago and it took a few days to get everything back to normal.

I can only imagine what it would take to move a site of this size with more than one server.

Keep the faith everyone, something on this scale takes time.

Thanks for understanding. MANY members of this site don't have a flippin' clue what it takes to even move a fart from server to server. I got so sick and tired of answering all the whiners, I only responded to ya-who's who have some common courtesy for the people working hard behind the scenes to make this move as smooth as possible.
