i was doing some early tuning/cleaning on the sled and i noticed i need a new ignition pack for my 99 xc 700...the metal that clips on to the top of the plug inside the boot broke off inside....wondering who might have the best price on this part??? any ideas?? thx zak

its the part the spark plug wires come out of...the coil pack/ignition pack whatever its called...controls the spark plugs....inside one of the boots there is a metal piece that snaps onto the top of sparkplug, well, that metal piece is what snapped/broke and it looks like the whole shabang needs to be replaced....

You don't need the whole coil set up. NGK makes a replacement plug cap that just screws onto your plug wire. Make sure you get the right ohms rating for your sled. They are just a few bucks each.

The plug cap is a 5000 ohm and is replacable, just uscrew it and screw the new one on.
