They made some Evinrude's with a Wankel rotary motor (yes rotary). Not sure if that is one or not.

I can't remember the name of the place, but a boat motor dealer in Southfield, Michigan had a bunch of new parts from the Evinrude/Johnson snowmobile line. I think he may have bought all their parts back when they quit making sleds. It's been alot of years since I was there, but who knows.

I know someone that just bought a 72 Evinrude that is in really good condition. It has a rotary motor and reverse.......

My brother had a Evinrude 440 Skimmer when we were kids. The Vintage I think was around a 74 . Nice sled in its day, I beleive they made a 640 cc also.
