WHATEVER!

from your picture it looks pretty beat up, probably why you paid 700 bucks for it. 1700 seems pretty decent price.

i agree with 600 xlt unless u got lots of mods and is in better then mint its not worth that when its $920 on kelly blue book
elan killer
i seen xlt 600 sled before and it not in that great of condition i would not say it would have been worth much more than 700 bucks

Why are we putting up with 15 year old using that kind of profanity on the site. I say, Moderator, BAN HIM! My kids look on this site as well. They dont need to see that kind of crap.... especially from a "still wet behind the ears" 15 year old!

it was a good deal for 700

the reason it looks so bad is because tje front bumber is bent, no big deal
RatRod
what ever dude, i dont mean to curse its just in my blood. I will re-do my message

Rough around the edges is putting it mildly.

I will go as low as $1400 for it.
It is an XLT special, that means it has 12" instead of 10" like the std xlt.
It has a new 1 1/2" track extended to 136", plastic skis and no cracks in the hood or a bent bumper.
It only has a tear in the seat and 3775 actual miles.
The motor has never been touched and always stored inside.
NADA shows it is worth this much!!
Reply if your interested or go look at the Arctic Cats!!

Im pretty sure that "special" means that it has 38 mm carbs I think that all of the 96's came with the X12 and the 95's came with the X10's.

i hope you get your asking price but being as respectful as i can i think that if you lowered the price $250 to $350 you will have a better chance of selling. I dont want to stir the pot at all but Kelly Blue Book is the biggest joke ever. It doesnt represent anything, its like the beckett price guides thye make up there numbers and most of the time they are high. Once agian good luck with your sell and BTW if anyone wants a 96 in Excellent condition with close to 6k miles, newer track and plastic skis let me know she is out the door for $750

I have a 96 xlt and it has the extra 10 not the extra 12. If the sled is in good shape i think that a fair price. Good luck with the sale.

NADA doesn't mean squat to anyone that knows what sleds are going for. You would have a hard time getting $1200 for it on Ebay.
Anyone that knows anything, knows the '96's had crank bearing problems and its just a matter of time before it grenades.

Why hasn't this been moved to the classified section where it belongs??

I have 2 96 models, one has 6K on it and the other has 4K so when are they going to "grenade"? One of them is getting a 136 under it and pipes with clutch kit. I know this was a problem on "some" of them and some of them are still going without a problem. All sleds have their problems. Just my .02 worth.

Mine has just over 9000 miles and never been apart. Getting low on comp(98lbs per cyl) so might due the top end this year. Here in canada an average xlt sells for 1300-1800. I paid 975 for mine and needed a new track and chain and top gear.
RatRod
sorry but you got ripped off

who gives a rats ass what someone want for a sled or paid for a sled ..this forum is full of jerk-off kids that have a stupid comment ...no moderators or what ...let a bunch of stupid kids ruin a perfectly good site ...and if you dont like a posters price on a sled, dont buy it
