With your new sleds coming in consider buying a cover that will protect your investment rather then just cover it. Let me tell you why the Skinz covers are better then OEM covers.

Skinz Cover: Available in 2 sizes for standard sleds and long tracks and can be saved for other sleds after you sell due to it's unique "universal custom fit".

OEM Cover: Covers are very specific and usually only fit only 1 model line up.

Skinz Cover: Made of a material that stretches over your sled and aftermarket accesories. Because this cover stretches "road flap" is pretty much eliminated.

OEM Cover: Made of canvas that just lays on your sled and will not fit adapt to aftermarket accesories. When trailering the cover tends to flap and scuff up the painted surfaces on your sled.

Skinz Cover:100% Waterproof

OEM Cover: Not waterproof at all

Skinz Cover: Covers the front of your snowmobile down to and over the ski's protecting the front suspension and acting as a slush guard.

OEM Cover: MOST do not cover more then just the front spindles.

Skinz Cover: If you were to accidently put a hole in the cover you will not have to worry about not using it. The material will not allow the hole to get any bigger if you use it to get home. Each cover comes with a storage bag and a REPAIR KIT.

OEM Cover: If you were to put the same hole in a OEM/Canvas cover and tried using it to get home from your riding spot most likely the hole will be mush bigger and shredded.

The fact is you spend between $8000 and $12,000 on a sled that you take pride in why not spend an extra $50 and REALLY protect your new sled from road debris.

If you really stop and think about it the Non Waterproof version of the cover is cheaper then the OEM covers and provide more protection, versatility, a snug fit and durability.

Covers come in Black, Black/Red, Black/Blue, Black/Yellow, Black/Silver, Black/Orange and are available in Waterproof and Non Waterproof versions.

Here are some prices to compare from the OEM's.
Ski Doo Preimium Cover $270
Polaris Preimium Cover (does not cover the ski's) $220
Arctic Cat Preimium Cover (does not cover the ski's) $190
Yamaha Preimium Cover (does not cover the ski's) $188

SKINZ Cover $239

Covers can be purchased on our website @ www.sledsolutions.com

So in reality you are getting a 100% waterproof cover that covers the ski's for anywhere from a savings of $50 to additional $5-$37 for a higher quality cover.

The one on the left is on a 07 Switchback, the right is on a 00 touring classic. Have open trailered over 4000 miles last season. They still look like new, and so do the sleds.

Hi Paul,

Any chance you will be at the Akron NY grass drags on the 22-23 of Sept?

I am waiting for my new XP to arrive and think your covers are the way I want to go!
Just thought I could maybe eliminate the shipping costs to Ont. if your are going to be in NY.

The Skinz cover comes only one way.....the pricing that I posted is what OEM's are charging.

$225 is the price for the waterproof Skinz Protective Gear snowmobile cover.

Thanks,
Paul

Dude, many of us are waiting with cash in hand to buy this cover for our XPs.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go down to a SkiDoo Dealer, put your cover on a XP, take a few photos, post them on here, and sit back and get ready to sell a lot of covers. (A photo with your cover on XP with a medium to high windshield would be even better.) Thanks!

With things kicking into high gear early I would like to pass some very important information on to the members of HCS. We are seeing a lot of demand for the Skinz Protective Gear products and it's only September. If you are considering purchasing any Skinz products for this coming season please consider getting your orders in early to avoid long delivery times. We as well as Skinz have put things in place to help meet the demand but with another year under their belt and the products out on the snow last 2 seasons delays will be unavoidable. We will have inventory this year but I'm affraid with the way things are going already it may not matter much.

We appreciate your business and look forward to doing anything possible to get these popular items on your sled.

How do these covers fit longer machines. Like a f7 standard. Being a universal fit.

The material stretches and conforms to each individual machine. XL covers are for 136 and longer.

Also do they breathe? So I could leave it on when I'm not using my sled? And will it fit an M-8 ? I didn't like my old cover, it ripped from flapping right away so I am very interested in one of those , oh yeah will you ship to Canada? grinning-smiley-023.gif

Because they are waterproof breathing isn't something these covers will do well.

They will fit an M8 no problem just make sure you order the XL version. No flap with these covers, saves the paint and the cover!

Yes we ship to Canada.

Thanks,
Paul

I was hoping to get one that would breathe, so I went and got an Arctic Cat cover, it has been updated since my last one, it has more elastic and a strap over the wind shield and handlebars to reduce flapping. It was $225.00 Canadian. I'm pretty happy with it, I do like the looks of those Skinz covers, but this one should work for me.

We have never had a problem with tall windshields on other sleds so I would think the XP would be no different.

im jaded. Since buying aftermarket cover for my jetski, trailering it 15 miles on a highway, and having the flap permanently wreck part of my seat, i have avoided non oem on anything. This cover btw was sworn to be no flap. It balooned up after 50-60mph, then flapped like mad once it got all stretched out (and yes, it was on correct).

What I would recommend is getting a user or yourself to put these covers on a sled, and do a quick video of them in action. When youre not so busy maybe? grinning-smiley-023.gif I do love the look of these, and they would be a great option to avoid getting your shocks/arms covered in rust when trailering.

Btw, how do these clean? Just spray them off when theyre on the sled?

This is a NO FLAP cover but I understand your hesitation based on past experiences.

They wash up in the washing machine and will not fade like the OEM covers after washing. It is recommended that you wash the cover after every other use.

Thanks,
Paul

Let me tell you the covers ROCK. My sled is in an enclosed trailer but I have one of the waterproof stretch covers for my ATV and it's the greatest. NO flap at all and fits with any and all accessories like it's custom. I GAVE the OEM cover away when I got the Skinz as I knew I'd never use it again. Skinz gear is top notch stuff.

We don't stock to many covers and as of right now we are still waiting on our stock order to come in. Best way to handle it is to call us and give us your credit card info, we will get it ordered without charging your card. We can bring it with us to Novi for you to pick up if you would like. No on Hastings.

My current sled is a 144" but after next season I will be trading up to a 155" or 163" RMK. Will the Waterproof XL cover fit my current sled and future sled? Preferably all the way over the rear bumper, not just to the back of the seat.

The XL covers everthing from 136"- 163" and it covers the ski's to the rear bumper. That's the beauty of this cover you can keep it and use it again and again.

I'll look you up when I'm ready to buy one.
