Hey Guys,
On a normal year, just avg when do you have rideable snow? Planning a trip up there on 12-5-07 for about a week. Id make it later, but this is the only time period can happen. Usually any snow by then???

That time of year is a hit or miss and is usually limited riding. In the higher elevations of the west coast and northern peninsula would be the only areas where any good riding might be possable that early in the year.

For the most part of the island, the snow comes to stay around Christmas time and lasts untill april, with the west coast season being a few weeks extra. If you really want to search for snow, it can be found from nov. to may/june (all on one Island, gotta love it).

If this year is anything like last year you should be able to get a ride in. I had my first ride last year on my Birthday, December 3 and i left from the house. Good Luck.

i wouldn't count on a ride that time of year but it certainly does happen on the west coast.
