The wife digs it,but the deer won't stand still long enough to enjoy it.

I don't understand why it is necessary to do that first? In the twenty years of hunting and many animals gutted, all I do it cut up the belly, split the pelvis and pull it out then with the stomach. That add makes it sound like a big chore. I guess it would eliminate splitting of the pelvis. I could see it being helpful for an elk or moose in which takes a saw but a deer or antelope can be split with a knife.

I dont never even split the pelvis, cut cut around it and then pull it threw when you done guttin. all good!

Exactly how I used to do it, BUTT for 9 BUCKS at wally world it is well worth it.
